Your beautiful creative brain is amazing at coming up with ideas, but it's also great at sabotaging your plans and your confidence. Sound familiar?

It's really easy to tell yourself 'you don't have a head for business' or 'I'm not a business person, I have no experience'. Here's the thing, NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING WHEN THEY START OUT.

Loud enough for you?

I get that it is super easy to believe those little voices in our head or get serious imposter syndrome looking at other business owners who have been there and done it seemingly successfully.

But what I want you to know, to really absorb and start believing is that no one knows what they are doing when they start their business journey. True story.

People have great ideas, they develop those ideas and then they figure out how to make it into something saleable and profitable. They learn all the goings on behind the customer facing stuff, they research, they ask other people, they attend events, read articles, watch videos and even tae online courses and classes.

What they don't do is sit there telling themselves they can't do it. You see for me, creativity is a gift, a talent, something not everyone is born with. Being able to have a killer idea is gold.

Everything else? You can learn and you can get help with. But no one else is you with your ideas, your drive, your passion. 

My biggest, juiciest tip for starting out?

Spend time not money. 

Spend time learning, reading and researching. Don't rush in, there is no timeline you have to follow or work to, there is no one size fits all master plan.

There's hard work and chipping away little by little. Don't wait for the 'perfect time' or until you can quit your job or carve out a month to work on your business idea.

Start today with small actions. It can be tiny, literally a micro action.
